Happy Birthday to the King!

Also on this day in some time in the past MAA’s most prominent player KingFisher  745 was born.

happy_birthday_kingfisher_745To this day nobody knows what he looks like nor do we know his real age, which adds more to his mystique.

Who is King Fisher 745?   Well this is what we do know.

His real name is Jo Restino.   Unfortunately, Facebook forced him to reveal his real name due to harassment from a disgruntled troll after the King pointed out an exploit that many where using.    He lives in Pennsylvania and is studying to be a teacher.    He use to work at a retirement home and besides playing MAA loves to fish.    He has a great booming voice born for Radio and with a heart of gold.   He is always friendly and helpful to those who ask.

He is one of MAA’s biggest fans and contributors.    He has created over 1,000 Youtube videos about the game since 2012.   His videos are the most prominent, informational and helpful on Youtube.   Countless users have said that their game play was significantly improved by watching his videos.

His friend got him to start playing back in 2012.  He came into the game when Spec Ops 3 Avengers Vs X-men was in play.    However, the King really didn’t get rolling until the first Halloween Spec ops in which Ghost rider was launched.   It was during this Spec Ops on November 13, 2012 when he made his first MAA video, which you can view below.

He got his handle name as the result of a joke.   Being such an avid fisher one of his friends referred to him as “the King of all Fishers”.    745 was result of a random email assignment given to him by comcast.   He liked the number and used it ever since.

His favorite Marvel character is Spider.   His favorite villain is Dr. Doom and the character he most wanted to see in the game was Namor (the sub-mariner).   Unfortunately, that will never come past.

We at MAA times are so grateful to King Fisher for everything he has done for MAA and the MAA community and alas wish him a very Happy Birthday
