When the game launched in 2012, the cap level for all heroes was level 12. However, every subsequent year a new level cap was added for the heroes. In 2013 they were bumped up to level 13. In 2014 we got level 14. 2015 was no different. Now in 2016 a rumor is floating around based on the below code divers graphic, that we will be getting a new level once again. Level 16 will seem to give passive immunity based on the heroes class. Exactly what that entails is not clear at this time. We can only speculate that Tacticians will be immune to exhausted, Scrappers immune to winded, Blasters immune impaired, etc. Again, this is only speculation at this point and the whole rumor has yet to be truly confirmed.

We do know that the month of August is the month when these changes tend to get introduced (see chart below). 2014 was the exception. What are your thoughts on this? Do you think we are ready for Level 16? Remember, Level 16 was always hinted at when Deadpool was introduced back in 2012.

One year ago today movie audience’s were introduced to the Antman! This was nearly a week after the Antman Spec Ops already dropped. It was a fun movie. If you still haven’t seen it yet, then it is available on Amazon via the affiliate link below.
Today was an interesting day in MAA and a somewhat embarrassing day for Playdom. It was the End of PVP Season 9. Diamond Leaguers were rewarded with the Spark Plugger, a weapon that paired well in this years early electric attack meta. Vibranium Leaguers were not only rewarded with the Spark Plugger but got to try on the Blasters Aegis Armor which gave the agent single-target attacks a 50% chance to apply Melt Armor, thus allowing all attacks to ignore defense. However, the real prize and shock of the day was that not only Adamantium Leaguers were given Angel as the reward, but ALL Leaguers received him too. A lot of players were happy that day, but I can’t imagine the devs and Playdom were. Also, the players most angry about this “Oops moment” were the ones that worked so hard to land in Adamantium. Playdom decided to not take Angel away. A wise decision on their part.

Three years ago today for the very first time major content was released on a Saturday. That’s right Spec Ops 11 – Sins of the Father was released on Saturday July 13, 2013. One may suspect this Spec Ops was originally planned for the Halloween of 2013, but changed due to the release of Thor Dark World. Both the reward character nor the lockbox characters were both solid addition to the roster, but not necessarily game changers. That is until Daimon Hellstrom got his Angrir Alt earlier this year 2016.

Psychic attacks have made a comeback big time due to the Psychic Force Set introduced in the latest Spec Ops 35. Psychic attacks have become a big part of the new meta in PVP. Although its fun attacking with this set, how do you defend against it?

July 10th was a busy day in MAA’s past. It saw the launch of two different Spec Ops and the general release of a PVP reward character exactly 30 days after Adamantium winners got him.

A little more than a year after the launch of the game, a new feature was added. Covert Tasks – were a 4th feature in which new content can be introduced and deployed into the game. Up until that time it was Spec Ops, PVP, and New Chapter releases. The first covert task was sponsored by Underwriter Laboratories, a company where at first glance would have seem to have nothing in coming at all with a gaming company such as Playdom. However, both do have the problem of piracy to contend with so goes the theme of the first task Pirate Hunters
