Who will the Next MAA Lockbox Character be?

MAA_Ronan_Lockbox_coversAnd when will he be released?    The answer to that based on these covers now appearing on Playdom’s servers and what Playdom has previously announced is Ronan The Acuser, the main villain from the Guardians of the Galaxy.    Three questions we have

  1.   What class will he be?
  2.   Since he is such a powerful and villainous character in the game, will he be limited to team up with the Agent only like Kang and Doom?
  3.  In what form will his lockboxes be deployed?   Lockboxes are deployed in three ways:   1)  During PVP Daily 5   2)  Rewards with Spec Ops Group Bosses  3)  Daily mission drops (Done so far during Christmas only)  Since we recently have both PVP and Spec Ops it will be a while before we see this new lockbox character appear.   Unless they do something different they have not yet done before to deploy them.


 

On This Day – July 3rd in years past

maa_season1_chapter8_dark_ritesFour years ago today we had the release of Chapter 8 (Dark Rites) of Season One.  This was the 2nd Chapter release after the initial launch of the game.   A popular favorite mission was Mission 5 of this chapter because it gave us our first real boss rush battle with the Hood.  Back then you were allowed to swap out Spider Woman for another character, which allowed players to farm up over 300 XP.  Back then that was a lot of XP!
