Exactly 6 years ago today Walt Disney acquired a small little gaming company called Playdom, which at the time was known for its online games like Sorority Life.
Eventually this paved the way for Marvel Avengers Alliance, a game that we all LOVE!
Then on this day, a few months after MAA’s launch we got our first scroll item for 64 gold. It was the Scroll of Melsalam, which is actually the only scroll that’s real name is part of the Marvel cannon. An apocryphal story floating around is that this scroll was so bad, that players renamed it the “Scroll of Salami”. Thus all future scrolls where Anagrams of meat! You decide?
